Madrid is considered one of the top European destinations concerning art museums. The three most famous museums, known as The Golden Triangle of Art, are all located along the Paseo del Prado. The most famous one is the Prado Museum, known for paintings by Spanish painters as Velázquez and Goya, but also Rubens, Rembrandt and many more. The Reina Sofia museum is mainly dedicated to Spanish art of which the most famous without a doubt are 20th century masters as Picasso and Dalí. The third, the Thyssen Bornemisza museum is established from a mixed private collection and fills the historical gaps which the Prado and the Reina Sofia leave. Hereby completing The Golden Triangle as a unique, inexperienced collection of art in the world.
By taking the arts program, we invite you to dig deeper into the [Spanish] world of art. In three sessions of about 2 hours, you will visit all three museums together with one of our teachers, an absolute expert on Spanish Arts.
You can take the art program in combination with an intensive 20 classes Spanish course (or private classes). The art program is offered year round (except for holidays).
